- PRODUCT QUERIES
How often should products be used?
Usage varies on each product. We recommend using our Restore hair oil at least 3-4 times a week, especially focusing on problem areas and massaging your scalp frequently during the week if possible. For our Maintain hair butter, we recommend that you use it at least 2-3 times a week, depending on your hair type, if your hair starts to feel dry during the week and depending on your hair style. For straight/wavy textures, we recommend you use the butter at least once a week as a hair mask and washed out with shampoo and cool/warm water, or ideally can be used on the ends of your hair every few days to prevent dry or split ends.
Are the products okay for kids?
Yes!, our products are kid friendly, however we still recommend doing a patch test particularly for younger children as kids can be more prone to allergies and irritation whilst developing. If your child has any allergies (nut allergies in particular), we recommend checking our ingredients list first to be sure it is suitable for your child.
Are the products safe for pregnant women?
Yes, we believe our products are safe for pregnant women. We know some people may be a bit cautious with the use of essential oils and other ingredients during pregnancy. Please seek medical advice first before using our products if you are unsure.
Can men use the products?
Absolutely, our brand and products are non-biased and genderless! Men can also use both our products for hair balding, beard growth and beard/hair health. Step your beard and hairline game up with us ;)
Can I get a refund?
If there is a problem with the product, we will review your request for a refund. Email us at hello@shopmelantis.com. Please note, you can not return any items for hygiene and safe practice reasons.
When will the skin products be available?
We are currently working on a 'Phase by phase' basis as we want to create a focus on helping your problems whilst providing the best quality. We believe in quality first before quantity and therefore want to research and create products that will be beneficial even if it means we only have a small range of products at a time.
Targeting each phase separately before bringing in another product helps us to ensure we are taking care of your needs and monitoring your results, whilst maintaining quality of our products to ensure you get the best out of them.
But not to worry.... Phase 2 which will be our skin phase will launch from late 2024 :)
2. SHIPPING QUERIES
Processing time: 1-2 working days - (please note this is not inclusive of shipping time). Our processing time requires us to prepare your order, please bare this in mind and include this within your wait time to receive your order.
UK shipping: 1-3 working days - depending on location (not inclusive of weekends and public holidays).
International shipping: 3-10 working days (not inclusive of weekends and public holidays).
A tracking number will become available to you once your item(s) has been scanned by a courier and despatched. If you haven't received a tracking number after at least 3 days, please contact us at hello@shopmelantis.com so we can help.
At this current moment we are not responsible for any EU or International custom fees that may occur for your parcel. Please bare this in mind before purchasing to avoid any issues.
